The 台灣uu直播is committed to fostering and funding world class research that has a clear and tangible path to benefiting patients through driving system change which will help close this urgent osteoporosis care gap.

How does the 台灣uu直播decide on which research to support?

We raise funds specifically to support research and, periodically, we make these funds available to researchers through our Research and Innovation Grants Programme. The priorities for each grants round are decided by our Clinical and Research Committee. Decisions about how we allocate grants are made by our Research and Innovation Grants Assessment Panel , following our and in line with our Research Strategy and animals in research policy.

The charity is currently funding 12 active research studies听

• In total the grants are worth a value over 拢775,000.
• Overall the studies have more than 80 people (researchers, technical staff, patient representatives) working on them across 26 institutions.
• Together the grants are supporting the salary costs for 33 research/technical posts to deliver the research.
• The career development of three Early Career Researchers are being supported by the projects.
• All projects include clear public and patient involvement plans with five grants including a formal patient representative on the project team.
